Wisniewski, Defense Attaché at the Polish Embassy in Washington,
DC and Assistant Defense Attaché Lt. Col. Karol Sobczyk will present the Polish Army Medals to
Messrs. Robert Michalak and Michael Reagan in recognition for
their Fallen Heroes Project. The project honored the memory of sixty six
Polish Army soldiers who died fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan
as part of the NATO forces. The Polish Army Medals are awarded
to foreign military officers and also to civilians who promote history
and traditions of the Polish military outside of Poland.

honored with the Polish Army Medal for his indefatigable efforts
to promote Polish military traditions in the Pacific NW and

The Polish Film
Club Kino OKO
presents the movie Korczak,
directed by
Andrzej Wajda and starring
Wojciech Pszoniak in the title role.
This film tells the story of the famous writer, teacher, social
activist and pedagogue Dr. Janusz Korczak, who as a head of a
Warsaw ghetto orphanage chose to go with his charges to
Treblinka death camp rather than abandon them. His books such as
King Matt I are classics of Polish children literature.
Evening schedule: 7 pm socializing & film intro, 7:30 pm screening.

The Polish
Cultural Center presents a seminar Financial and Tax Planning
for Foreigners Living in the USA.
This is the first of a series of seminars for young Polish
immigrants but it's open to all. The program includes 1)
Financial planning and investing by Leo van Dorp, a wealth
manager with international focus, 2) Tax planning and reporting
by Suzanne Kane, an international tax attorney, 3) Trust and
Estate planning by Akane Suzuki, trust and estate attorney with
international focus.

The Polish Choir Vivat Musica invites everyone to a Biesiada concert
Dla Polski celebrating the 100th anniversary of Poland
regaining her freedom in November 1918. This will be another great
sing-along evening with the choir and guest performers. The Polish Home restaurant
will be open from 5:30 pm.

Tutsi woman saved by a Polish ornithologist and the subsequent
struggle of both women to go on with their lives.

The Last Suit directed by Pablo Solarz. This 2017 film
tells a story of Abraham Bursztein who, after going bankrupt in
Argentina embarks on a trip to Poland to give the last suit to a
Polish friend who saved his life during the Holocaust.
