This is the annual meeting of the members of the Polish Home
Association. It is also an election meeting for the Board of
Trustees and the PHA Officer positions. PHA
members can vote by proxy, see the Polish Home website for

the Arts and Washington Center for the Performing Arts present
International Guitar Night, featuring the following guitar
masters: Gypsy Jazz legend Lulo Reinhardt (Germany) as a host
with Calum Graham (Canada), Marek Pasieczny (Poland) and Michael
Chapdelaine
(USA). Mr. Pasieczny is an innovative classical composer and
performer who concerted around the world.

The Polish Film
Club Kino OKO
presents a 2004 historical fantasy drama Finding Neverland,
directed by Marc Foster and starring Johnny Depp and Kate
Winslet. The film is about playwright J.M. Barrie and his
relationship with a family that inspired him to create Peter
Pan. Polish composer Jan P. Kaczmarek received the Oscar for the
musical score for the movie. Introduced by Justyna Budzik.
Evening schedule: 7 pm socializing & film intro, 7:30 pm screening

Till Jan 24: Movie Loving Vincent
in
Seattle |

This ground
breaking feature-length painted
animation movie is a bio of Vincent van Gogh, the famous
impressionist painter, covering his entire life and his famous
paintings. The film has been co-created by Polish painter Dorota
Kobiela and filmmaker Hugh Welchman who won an Oscar for
Peter and
the Wolf
in 2008.

The Polish Home invites everybody to a traditional wafer & good-will sharing (Oplatek). This is an open event - everybody is welcome
to come and sing Polish and American carols along.
The Polish Choir
Vivat Musica will help with caroling.
There will also be a children drawing competition under the
title Christmas Eve at My Home.
Everybody's invited!.
