The expansion project has been in preparations for more than 5 years. Since May 2005, the Polish Home Foundation has run a fundraiser to gather funds for the construction. The construction started in September 2008 and should be finished in April 2009. The plan is to build a "shell" - with the elevator, staircase, finished lobby on the first floor and with upper floors unfinished.
