Fiedorczuk,
published by Wyd. Marginesy in 2015. Ms. Fiedorczuk, 40, is a
poet, writer as well as a literary critic and translator,
she works at the Warsaw University. Niewazkosc describes
a day in life of three vwomen who grew up in a small town and
now live very different life in Warsaw. This event is in Polish.

Theatre of Toronto presents a play in Polish Opowiesci Poli
Negri written and directed by Kazimierz Braun and starring
Maria Nowotarska and Agata Pilitowska. The play is about the
famous star of the silent movie era who was Polish. Mr. Braun is a writer, playwright, director and a
university professor based in Buffalo, NY.

the yearly Parish Festival that starts with a Holy Mass at noon. Attractions

at 4:30 pm.

White Eagle Band Anniversary Concert in Victoria, BC |

The White Eagle Band of
Victoria celebrates its tenth anniversary
with a special Biesiada concert that includes guest
performances by a dance group from Calgary, Harbour's End
Band and others. The group led by Ryszard Rudzki consists of
several musicians and a choir. It presented the Polish highlands
music
to enthusiastic audiences
at the Seattle Polish Festival and Pierogi Fest in Seattle
several times in the past. If you can go on a trip to Victoria,
this concert is worth it! Congratulations!

The Polish
Parish in Seattle is hosting an icon of
Our Lady Of Czestochowa. It is a faithful replica of the famous
medieval Black Madonna icon from the Jasna Gora sanctuary in
Czestochowa, Poland. The icon
arrives on May 30 and will be
available for veneration until June 7.
Each day there
will be special intentions and prayers, details are available at
the St. Margaret Church website. The Parish invites everybody to
join in prayers with Our Lady, the Black Madonna.

Polish Hall presents a concert
in the series Polish Music at the Polish Hall by
Malgorzata Kellis. Dr. Kellis is a soprano and has been
performing in many European countries as well as the USA. She is
also an educator and producer of musical events. The concert
program includes songs by several Polish composers including
Stachowicz, Lutoslawski, Kilar, Karlowicz, Chopin and others.

to Seattle to process passport applications only is scheduled
for June 2 & 3, 2015. The Consul will be available at the Polish
Cultural Center from
9 am to 5 pm both days by reservation only. To make a reservation send an email to
