This is the 2nd annual Polish Festival at the Seattle Center.
After a smashing success in 2012, the festival has been invited
again to the Seattle Center, this time to a bigger and better
venue at the Armory (old Center House) and Fisher Pavilion Rooftop
and its program has been expanded.
Polish Consul Malgorzata Cup, Congressman Jim McDermott and
Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn will
be present at the Grand Opening of the Festival.
Attractions include:
live performances by folk groups, piano and jazz artists, modern
dance, poster exhibit, folk fashion show, workshops, food demos,
children’s activities and dancing. Vendor booths offer Polish
glass art, hand-crafted pottery, crystal, jewelry, and paper
cut-out art. Also available: plenty of great Polish food and a
beer garden.
