Polish Picnic


Aug 19, noon - 5 pm: Polish Home Assn. picnic at the Lincoln Park

This is the main picnic of the summer for the Polish community of Seattle; it is organized by the Polish Home Association. Come and share good food and fun! There will be grills available, free drinks, hamburgers and hot dogs for kids and teenagers as well as friendly games and competitions with awards. Everybody is invited.

 

Where: shelter #1 at the Lincoln Park in Seattle, watch for a Polish flag and the PHA banner; admission free, bringing your food & drink to share is optional but welcomed

Aug 17, 7:30 pm: The Beauty of Early Polish Music in Portland

Polish Building Library Assn invites everybody to The Beauty of Early Polish Music concert  in the Polish Music at Polish Hall series. The program includes Polish Baroque and Renaissance chamber music by Wojciech Dlugoraj (16c.), Antoni Milwid (18c.) and others, performed by Musica Maestrale early music masters playing on replicas of early instruments.

   

Where: St. Stanislaus Church in Portland, OR; tickets $10 at the door

August: The Polish Cultural Center Closed in August

The Polish Home will be closed for a summer break in August and will reopen in September after the Labor Day weekend.
